The other day, I flew into a GeekRage (like a rampage only more pathetic) with some of my fellow geeks. It started when I took my turn in a conversation (turns must be taken, never given) and chimed among my fellow geeks about RED vs. BLUE. I got about five paragraphs in (fighting off - with deadly force - all interruptions by the second sentence) before it dawned on me that nobody knew what I was talking about.
"Red vs. Blue," I repeated as a person would carefully communicate in their own language to another person who didn't speak that language.
The expressions I saw made me reiterate yet again, for surely they were putting me on. "Red vs. Blue?" I asked. "Halo? Box canyon? Why are we here?"
No, they were serious.
My fellow geeks (HA! As if they still deserve that Emblem of Awesomehood!), had never heard of RED VS. BLUE!
