Hello feoamante.com community!

My name is Aubrey Mozino and I would love to win your vote in the Massify.Com competition, to win a role in the upcoming horror film, PERKINS’ 14.

You should vote for me because for me, there is NO “plan B”. Acting is more than a passion to me, it’s what I truly live to do.

After playing “Daddy Warbucks” in my first full length production of “Annie” (hooray for gender blind casting in lower school!), I knew that there was nothing else I wanted to do, but pursue the art of acting. Growing up in Philadelphia I was able to take acting classes in the city throughout middle school and high school but quickly exhausted all of the “teen classes” in the area. So, in the midst of studying for my geometry tests and the SAT’s, I attended night “adult classes” four times a week at the age of 15. I choose to fully commit myself to a life of a starving artist by putting myself immensely into debt in order to study at the prestigious New York University. I recently graduated with a degree in acting/producing and managed to attend a two-year conservatory in NYC (William Esper Studio) simultaneously.

I tell you all this not to impress you, but to show you that I have put myself wholly into this career and know that there is nothing, not a single thing, that would make me even remotely happy except for pursuing a career in theatre and film. I have been asked many times by doubtful friends and family what I’m going to do “if this acting thing doesn’t work out.” My answer is always that it will “work out” because I do not have a backup plan. I always thought that by “studying something else on the side” I was doubting my talent and giving myself a way out. Obviously, this business is very difficult to break into, so I’m asking for your vote to give someone who isn’t a producers’ cousin, a director’s wife, or a celebrity’s kid, a chance to do what she loves more than anything: perform.

With someone as dedicated as me, know that I will take my exploration and creation of this character as seriously as the consideration needed for a role in any Shakespearean show! I want to give you the most chilling and truthful performance you have EVER seen on the silver screen. Plus, I would put money on the fact that I have the best blood curdling scream you have ever heard.
