This was originally drawn for a news article about women who are figuratively (and sometimes literally) killing themselves to look beautiful; based soley on what they read and see in the media.

What the article failed to address is that men do the same thing for the same reasons.

The body of the model in the picture was a girlfriend at the time, so it has taken on other, more personal meanings for me.
