I don't expect anyone to ask about Michael Jackson's THRILLER. Everybody knows about Michael Jackson's THRILLER - it's just that iconic.
You may not know that it was directed by John Landis (AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON, INNOCENT BLOOD, DEER WOMAN), or that the make-up effects were done by Rick Baker (KING KONG, AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON,
VIDEODROME, GREMLINS 2: THE NEW BATCH, THE FRIGHTENERS, MEN IN BLACK [all], PLANET OF THE APES [2001], THE RING [U.S. - all], HELLBOY, THE WOLFMAN).
You probably know that the actual "Rap" in the song is done by none other than Vincent Price (THE HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL, THE LAST MAN ON EARTH, THE ABOMINABLE DOCTOR PHIBES, EDWARD SCISSORHANDS), and that it starred Playboy Playmate of 1980, Ola Ray. You probably even know it has a guest appearance by then consumate cameo actor, genre fan, and creator of the magazine, Famous Monsters of Filmland, Forrest J Ackerman.
So much has been written and said about Michael Jackson's THRILLER that I don't need to add to it here. All I wanted to do is find the best, highest quality online video of it, and this was the best I could find. Enjoy MJ at his best!
