You're probably thinking of Director Jon Knautz chilling, STILL LIFE.

STILL LIFE is one of the more expensive independent short films in recent years, costing $35,000 CAD (about the same in U.S. dollars). Still life stars Trevor Matthews (JACK BROOKS: MONSTER SLAYER, THE SHRINE), Kyle Brydges, and Joe Newton.

STILL LIFE was Director Jon Knautz' third short film. He went on to direct the 2007 indie Horror comedy feature, JACK BROOKS: MONSTER SLAYER, and the 2010 Horror feature, THE SHRINE.

Writer Charles Johnson has gone on to become a successful writer of children's cartoon series as well as two feature films.
