THE STAMPEDE - 2011
By Biting Elbows
Directed by Ilya Naishuller
You may have seen Biting Elbow's BAD MOTHERFUCKER, but it was the second chapter to THE STAMPEDE!
Biting Elbows had their own sound and their own look. Now in the realm of music videos, they needed their own identity in an arena that had seemingly been done to boring tears for the last 30 years.
Thanks to the direction of singer/frontman frontman Ilya Naishuller, THE STAMPEDE video not only became what the band wanted it to be, but splashed the band and their music upon the world.
With the even bigger success of BAD MOTHERFUCKER, the world and pocketbooks opened up to Ilya. He took advantage of the moment by writing and directing his feature film, HARDCORE. It stars Sharlto Copely (DISTRICT 9), was release in Russia in February 2015, and the film festival buzz right now is hot. How hot? HARDCORE is scoring an 8 at IMDb.
