The Unauthorized Companion
A short film about a prisoner. She gets ahold of a gun that makes holes in anything and she can pass through it to another hole anywhere. Even if she made it on another building. She uses this device to escape. What is it? I want to see the whole movie!
You can't see the whole movie because there isn't one. Director Dan Trachtenberg (10 CLOVERFIELD LANE) only made this short film about a woman named Chell (Danielle Rayne). But you can play the whole game, and that is called PORTAL 2, by Valve: insanely great makers of PORTAL and HALF-LIFE.
Portal 2 is the anchor image I'm using here instead of a poster for the sort film, PORTAL: NO ESCAPE. Why? Because it's 5 years later, 2016 going on 2017, and the creators of PORTAL: NO ESCAPE still haven't got around to making a poster. Now that Dan has moved on to directing wide release feature films for J.J. Abrams, they probably never will.
What is portal?_
The game trailers will probably open a few doors to understanding this short film even more.
