Durante el evento de cuadro 2002 René Castillo obtuvo el segundo lugar con su cortometraje "Hasta los Huesos". Segundo lugar aplaudido por unos, criticado por otros que le hubieran dado el primero. La realidad es que su cortometraje ha conquistado el corazón de muchas personas en todo el mundo y que René Castillo ya nos debía una entrevista. En el lobby del cine Bella Época pudimos platicar con él sobre su técnica y la vida que otorga al microcosmos de sus cortometrajes.

Rene Castillo confirmed as member of the International Jury
Mexican animator Rene Castillo was confirmed yesterday as a Juror for ANIMA2011. The self-taught animation filmmaker, director of Sin Sostén and Hasta los Huesos, was enthusiastic about being part of the festival's 6th edition.
