In the beginning, there was Dr. Casey.com. And thee were many message boards there, and they were good. But they were also dedicated largely towards fans.

Then there was Horrornet.com, and it too, had message boards, and they too were good. And they also had folks in the message boards, and later in the chatrooms, that wanted to be Horror writers. As Horrornet.com began to sputter out, I started Feoamante.com (at that time, all of the cool Horror dot com names had been taken, so I used my nickname). One of the first people to write reviews for me was Mike Oliveri. We met at Horror conventions, like the World Horror Convention, and became friends. Mike was a writer, and eventually he pushed his first novel, DEADLIEST OF THE SPECIES. His novel, though published by the small press, went on to win him his first Bram Stoker Award. Mike was the person who first suggested that I create a section for Horror comics, which was a damn good idea.

Eventually, Mike moved on from Feo Amante.com as his personal success grew. Here are his reviews.
